Most tunings were cut. These were patched from the AUD source where available. A light Continuous Noise filter was used to minimize tape hiss. The sound was a bit flat so equalization was used to bring up the top and bottom ends a bit. Other specific issues corrected:  The old SBD patch in Playin' was cleaned up and adjusted to better match the rest.  Mix was bad on Promised Land on both SBD and AUD - couldn't fix that!  All AUD patches were matched up as well as possible through EQ, Noise reduction and gain adjustments. Misc. loud handclaps, pops and other anomalies were corrected.  All editing done with Diamond Cut DC6 software.",

Tracks are named by set as opposed to disc as there\nare many media options now for output.\n\n____________________________________________________________\nGeneral Notes:\n\nBoth nights at the Miami Jai-Alai Fronton are excellent shows in their own\nright, following closely on the heels of the amazing 6-16 and 6-18 shows, all\npart of a short 8 show summer run. This Saturday night show, often overshadowed\nby the unique show the following night, is crackling with energy, and features\nan amazing China>Rider, a 28+ minute Playin', and the 9th Scarlet ever.  As a\nforeshadow of the Healy weirdness to follow the next night, there is a strange\nelectronic effect at the beginning of Greatest Story - the first time I have \nheard this type of effect used at a Dead show.  Healy must have had a new toy.\n\nThe SBD mix is somewhat low in terms Garcia's guitar due to his loud stage volume.\nThus, when coupled with the excellent Jerry Moore AUD, which is predominated by\nGarcia, the matrix really works well with everyone represented and balanced.\n\nMany thanks to Jerry Moore for recording the AUD, and to Mark Cohen for the \ntransfer, and to Noah Weiner for converting it to shn. Thanks to Darrin Sacks \nfor the SBD source.\n\nThanks to Bill Zormeir (AKA Zman) for the excellent artwork.\n\nEnjoy!\n-Chappy\n\n____________________________________________________________\nEditing Notes:\n\n- Pitch/Synch\nBoth sources were very close in pitch, the SBD being the closest to A=440.\nI synched the AUD to the SBD and the AUD had to be pitched up only 4 to 6 cents. \nThe alt. SBD which provides the encore had to be pitched up 50 cents and was\ntreated with some light NR due to excessive hiss from multi-gen analog transfers.\n\n- Sonic Quality/Matrix ratio\nNo EQ was applied to either of the two sources. I applied very sparingly\nWaves L2 (limiter) to the master 2 buss to keep things contained, the \nlevels rarely hitting zero, thus the limiting is quite scarce. All I was \ntrying to do here is to add some dimension to the SBD by using the \nambience of the AUD. The result is a lively but clear recording, hopefully \nclose to how it sounded at the show. If I had to guess the SBD/AUD ratio \nwould be somewhere between 3:1 and 2:1.
