      "notes": "Notes:\n\n- After the Egypt sources, the anonymous taper contacted me \nto talk about transferring and editing some more masters from \nhis collection. These Greek Theater shows were a tapers choice, \na run he holds near and dear. These tapes were made by a group \nof friends. The taper explained how he had spent the majority \nof the weekend waiting in line just to get to the sweet spot \ninside the venue where he knew the sound would be at its best. \nHe didn't want to see these tapes (and many others) that represent \nwonderful moments in music history, deteriorate without ever being \ncirculated. For him, these tapes represent really great times, \nwhere friendships were made by individuals from different \nbackgrounds and talents with a common goal of trying to capture \nthe sense of being there.\n\n\n- All tape flips and short pauses between songs are cross faded\n\n- This is a very nice recording. Very full sound. The vocals are a \nlittle low in the mix at times but the aura of the show is\nmore than enough to make up for it. \n\n- Thanks to MOTB for the use of the HD-p2",

The master tape has been missing for many years, a major reason for this not being circulated before. I kept hoping it would turn up. However, the well preserved copy is practically indistinguishable.\n\nPatches were sourced from shnid 105585 and shnid 95425. Slight eq and pitch adjustments were made to improve sound character matching.\n\nThis source is marred by occasional wind flutter, mostly during the first set.",
