CEP2.0 was used to align & \nsynch both of the sources. CEP2.0 used to adjust the volume\nfor the SBD & AUD. This is a 60% SBD, 40% AUD mix. \n- Mixed by dan@am-dig.com\n- FLAC conversion done 17-JUN-2005 \n- Artwork by dan@am-dig.com 300dpi - For best results print \nat the highest resolution onto glossy photo paper. Design \nfor use with a clear slim double jewel case. \n\n---------------------------------------------------------\n\nNotes\n\nd1t09 approx 0.621 seconds of crowd cheer missing after the \nlast song and before Bob Weir's comments \"We'll be back in a \nlittle bit\". Strange. The AUD was trimmed to match and the \nresult is smooth and undetectable.\n\nd1t08 at 51:57.173 the levels increase by approx +6db on the \nFOB. I reduced the levels to match the rest of the recording \nby doing a gradual decrease in gain. This smooth and is most\nlikely undetectable.\n\nd2t09 Level drop significantly on the FOB from 57:36.956 to\n57:47.500 for a total of 10.544. Doing a gradual increase\nin gain I raised this low level portion +10db. This smooth \nand is most likely undetectable.\n\nd2t09 13.220 seconds missing of drums, just before space is\nabout to start on the SBD source. This is not only very\ndifficult to explain why but was really hard to find exactly\nwhere to make a patch. I was finally able to get a good \nidea where this was and patch it with the FOB. This smooth \nand most likely undetectable.\n\n---------------------------------------------------------\n\nEditorial Comments\n\nI felt it worthy to include a few observations/opinions.\n\nThis is another strange 1991 SBD. Let me explain. Quite \na few digital SBD's for the 1991 year are in circulation. \nI am sure some of you have noticed a sorta strange sound \nquality to them. What makes them sound they way they do \nis unknown to me. I'd call them too digital. They tip-\ntoe along the edge of blurry. If I had to guess I would \nthink a portable DAT deck was being fed an analog signal \ninto the line in. And although the levels were set \nappropriately the deck was overloaded by 'too hot' a feed \nfrom the SBD. \n\nThis 1991 SBD source is very similar to many other 1991 \nshows. 4/27/91, 6/22/91, 8/16/91, 9/8/91 thru 9/18/91 to\nname a few. These sources have a good mix and are clear as\na bell, yes, but also sound too digital. Too much of a\nhard edge to them. Perhaps the decks were overloaded,\nmaybe it was a poor A to D chip.\n\nThe FOB used for this mix is excellent. An 'in-your-face'\nrecording with a nice rowdy feel to it. A great compliment\nto the SBD. While it doesn't completely 'fix' the overly\ndigital sound of the SBD it does help.\n\nA good listening spot. Check out where it sounds as if the\nDead are about to head into Dark Star in the middle of\nthe first set. Listen to the crowd reaction to Dark Star\nand then when they break to Masterpiece. This is really fun \nin 5.1 and on the matrix. A great moment in GD history. \n\nI remember wondering to myself if this was going to be a \nlong 1 set show like Foxboro 1987. After opening the show\nwith Eyes Of The World and then this Dark Star exploration,\nthere was really a feeling of anything could happen.\n\nGood show, over rated show, Vince or not, what can and should\nbe said is this show it is truly an extraordinarily unique \nGrateful Dead performance.\n\n---------------------------------------------------------\n\nAdditional Formats\n\nThis show is available in the following formats:\n\n1. The straight DSBD and FOB: B&K 4011's\n2. SBD + AUD Matrix Mix at 16/44 CD",
